About the role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled, hands-on, self-motivated Food & Beverage Manager to oversee the successful running of our food and beverage operations. To make the most of this role you will need an impeccable background in F&B operations incorporating large-scale conference and events facilities, be a creative thinker, have the ability to drive business and deliver on service standards.  This hands-on role in order to support, inspire and mentor our food and beverage team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive the management of all outlets to maximise revenue
  • Assist in departmental forecasting and deliver on financial targets
  • Control all associated operational costs
  • Establish short and long term strategic plans for the outlets
  • Implement all operational standards of procedures, supported with on the job training
  • In conjunction with the PR and Marketing Dept, develop promotional campaigns for outlets
  • Ensure and promote high standard of WH&S in all outlets
  • Deliver a quality guest experience and food and beverage product
  • Actively develop and mentor team members in F&B service and knowledge


Skills and experience

  • A solid food and beverage background with a minimum of 3-5 years of management in industry experience
  • Ability to manage large multi-purpose function facilities
  • Be innovative in F&B product development
  • Financial acumen
  • Ability to develop creative promotions and revenue generation
  • Ability to effectively manage cost efficiencies
  • A passion for F&B and a passion for quality and excellence
  • Able to communicate at all levels; spoken and written
  • Excellent leadership skills to encourage, inspire and drive the team
  • Ability to deliver agreed objectives; financial and operational
  • Ability to learn software required in this role including Kronos, Connx and Micros Programs
